This Year’s Events

Wednesday 25 September 2002

A Sneak Preview

This year we will be having the usual mix of talks, events, trips,
tutorials and games nights as usual.

Confirmed talks are Brian King, coauthor of O’Reilly Publishing’s
‘Creating Applications with Mozilla’ and Kevin Warwick, who claims to be
the world’s first cyborg.

We’re already planning a trip to Edinburgh to catch ‘Game On’, an
exhibition about the history of computer & video games that’s
currently touring the UK. The annual netsoc ski trip is also sure to happen this year.

And, for all those gaming fans, we will have at a monthly games night
at Does Not Compute, culminating with the annual TCD vs DCU battle.
