While we have no problem, and even encourage hosting your final year
projects on Matrix, we would like all members who do to make regular
backups. We do not backup home directories and, while it is very
unlikely, Matrix’s hard disks or disk controllers may fail. Please
make external backups as often as possible. All it takes is a couple
of commands – our support
desk is more than willing to provide assistance.

Remember, as stated in our Acceptable Usage
Policy, Netsoc cannot be held liable for any loss
incurred as a result of usage of, failure of or withdrawal of
services.
