Tutorial Time At Netsoc

Sunday 22 October 2006

The netsoc tutorials are a great way to learn all the features of netsoc
we promised during Fresher’s Week, but you still haven’t figured out how
to use, like setting up own website (myspace, but good)
The first of these tutorials will be held next Wednesday (October 25th)
in The Panoz Institute East End
computer room EE1. This week we will be concentrating on
basic unix skills and
will be showing you random coolness (to be decided seconds before we
show you).
If you dont quite know how to use netsoc, or have nothing to do for a
while, come along.

Lectures begin…

Monday 9 October 2006

Fresher’s Week is over, with excellent signup numbers, and Netsoc are
all ready to provide those services in exchange for that euro you
parted with. For those new to netsoc, there’s a wealth of information on
our support wiki
to get you started
To those that forgot to renew your account (and trust us, you would be
foolish not to), you still have (limited) time. Send that euro to any committee member
along with your username, or drop down to the Netsoc Room in
Goldsmith Hall, someone will be around.
Tutorials will be starting soon too, watch this space for more
information.
