LaTeX Tutorial

LaTeX is a great language for formatting documents. It
can be extremely beneficial to maths students, and is the typesetting
mode of choice for a large number of lecturers. Netsoc will be
running a tutorial on this useful language this week, hosted by our
admin, Eoin. For an example of what your files can look like,
see here.

Googlewhacking & EGM

Did you ever Google yourself and end up lost in the tubes of the
Internet for hours? Dave Gorman is a man who didn’t just get lost
online, though. He did it in real life. And then decided that that
wasn’t embarrassing enough, so he made a one man show about it. This
was filmed, and became “Dave Gorman’s Googlewhacking Adventure.”

Netsoc will be holding an EGM next Monday to elect a new Secretary.
Nominations can be sent to council at netsoc.tcd.ie. Voting will be by
secret ballot.
