  • Place: Beckett Labs, Arts Block

Tutorials

Monday 13 October 2008

Tutorials usually cover a wide range of subjects for users from absolute beginners and up, aimed at making college work on a computer much easier to do. We will begin holding tutorials this week, starting with “An Introduction to Netsoc and Linux” this Tuesday at 7PM in the Beckett Labs in the Arts Block.

  • Time: Tuesday 14th October, 7PM
  • Place: Beckett Labs, Arts Block

LAN Night

Friday 10 October 2008

We will be holding a LAN party this Saturday, the 11th of October, in the canteen in Trinity Hall, in association with the JCR. In addition to the all-night game-a-thon, there will be Xboxes, projectors and a crate of Lucozade, thanks to our comrades at the JCR. Everyone will get precisely one plug socket, so those wishing to bring a pimped out desktop machine will need to bring their own extension cords.

If you’d like to come, or have any game suggestions, please email gamesnight at netsoc.tcd.ie.

  • Time: Saturday 11th October, 6PM
  • Place: The Canteen, Trinity Hall, Dartry
