Useful for testing horribly complicated circuts with lots of soldering that could go wrong. Tiny. Saves lugging about a big multimeter.
Ingredients:
Itty-bitty speaker
Cell battery & holder
Bits of wire
Pair of paperclips
Some electrical tape
Steps:
- Unfold the outermost bend in the paperclips
- Solder a paperclip (loads of wire) to the speaker
- Solder the other end of the speaker to the battery
- Solder the other end of the battery case to some more wire
- Solder the wire to the second paperclip
- Wrap the pseudo-handles of the paperclip in electrical tape
- Magic.
Note: Sellotape the circuit to a velcro wrist-strap for cool portabililty and to stop it from getting in the way.
Secondary note: Sellotape may not be the best construction material
