This section details the APIs and functionality of the Java Mobile Environment that are to be used in the implementation of the project and the research into other methodologies and other programs that have provided similar functionality in J2ME?.
Will this even work?
This section looks at the technology currently avalable and the requirements necessary for processing sound in real time. It also looks at the sound fidelity of a mobile phone's microphone and whether it is possible to get a high enough quality signal from one of these microphones to accurately gauge the tone of a note.
