Limits Of Functions - By Ciaran Mandal
How to use this applet:The user enters values A, B, C, to create an equation of the form AX^2 + BX + C. After entering the value for X to tend to, the applet calculates the limit of the function.Notes on the maths used in the applet:The maths employed in this applet is extremely simple. The value enter by the user for what X tends to is simply substituted into the equation (also entered by the user) and the result is displayed on screen. There are many different, more complicated limits that need to be evaluated but unfortunately due to various reasons this rather basic applet does not cater for them.
