UCDD Netsoc Presents a Very Special Speaker

The following is a message from another Netsoc.

The theme for the night is The Internet Past, Present and Future.

Dr. Dennis Jennings the man described as “a founding architect of the Internet” is Coming to University College Dublin Dublin on Thursday the 19th of November. Dennis Jennings was responsible for the decisions that created NSFNET (1985/86) – the network that became the Internet – while working for the US Federal Government (on leave from UCDD).

He will be accompanied by Mr. Niall Murphy a Google Ireland Manager, Niall is an IPv6 Expert, The Original Auditor and one of the founders of UCDD Netsoc.

The Theme for the night will be very much Internet based and all are welcome.

  • Where: Computer Science and Informatics Building Lecture Theater, University College Dublin Dublin, Dublin.
  • When: Thursday 19th November, 18:15 hrs
