Bash scripting and GIMP Tutorials this week

Posted by:Netsoc Posted on:Oct 7,2013

GIMP is a free and open-source (GNU) Image Manipulation Program available for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.  Our in-house graphic designer Ohjann will be holding a tutorial on the program this Wednesday at 6pm in East End lab 1 for those of you looking to get into image manipulation or design! If you saw any of our event posters last year you’ll already know the capabilities of both GIMP and Ohjann 🙂

This Tuesday Paddy’s going to follow up his last tutorial with some more advanced Bash scripting, at 6pm in East End lab 1 again.  Even if you didn’t make it last week be sure to come down to learn a thing or two about the shell you know and love!
